Thank you everyone who has partnered with us financially and in prayer. Praise God for providing all the financial support for the trip (any additional funds will go towards helping the Kachin build a recording studio to create indigenous worship songs for their churches).
As I prepare to fly out November 1 for a 3 week trip to Burma to teach and do field work, I would really covet your prayers...
- For God to grant grace in teaching prep this week.
- The Kachin church - that God would continue to strengthen them in the midst of persecution and that they would continue to be a light for the gospel in S.E. Asia.
- The training time - that the pastors and worship leaders would grow in their vision for God-centered worship.
- Field work - that God would orchestrate all the details in gathering info for my thesis and that the research into Kachin musical instruments would be a catalyst for more indigenous worship.
- Shana and the family - that God would protect them (and our team), provide for them and reunite us safely at the end of November.
