Smart Phones And The Dumbing-Down Of Worship

I recently had the privilege of attending a major national conference for pastors and was extremely blessed, challenged, and encouraged.  Something I observed more than ever this year was a growing number of men around me messing with their smart phones during the time of singing praises to God.  I would like to suggest we turn off the gadgets during times of singing, reading scripture, and prayer.  Whatever text, email or Facebook post seems urgent can wait until you take a break between sessions.
