Mercy to Mephibosheth

Every Christian can relate to the mercy shown to Jonathan's son, Mephibosheth in 2 Samuel 9. We are like this man, sons and daughters of rebellious Adam, guilty of treachery and deserving of death. Because of God's salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus, those that have been born again are invited to dine at His table (Revelation 19:9).

Rejoicing today that I am a child of God, an heir and fellow heir with Christ - asking for grace to suffer with him, in order that I may also be glorified with him (Romans 8:17).
