Jesus Paid It All

How many times have I rejected God's comfort and healing because of my stubbornness and pride? Like Naaman in 2 Kings 5, I want to tell the Lord what remedy He should use in my case. In God's perfect plan, He places me in a situation designed to ultimately bring me healing and peace but I can't see it with my eyes of flesh. So many 'servants' of my soul exhorting me to yield to His "great word."

I am grateful that the Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. Christ died for my sins - even the sin of discontent and grumbling over His plan of sanctification in my life.

Lord, now indeed I find,

Thy power and Thine alone;

Can change the leper's spots

And melt the heart of stone.

Jesus paid it all, all to Him I owe;

Sin had left a crimson stain,

He washed it white as snow.
